Cordless love!

By Ardeliah

from Beaver Bank, NS, Canada

Comments about Dremel MiniMite 4.8V Cordless Two-Speed Rotary Tool:

I bought this to replace my older corded version and I have fallen in love. The cordless option is lighter weight, easier to maneuver, and even quieter. I would recommend it to anyone doing fine detail work.

    Never fails me

    By Sheltie Lover

    from Silver Spring, MD

Comments about Dremel MiniMite 4.8V Cordless Two-Speed Rotary Tool:

I've used Dremels since the early '80's for keeping my dogs' toe nails trimmed. I started with a corded version and when it finally died - been serviced many times but the service tech told me it was finally gone - I chose a cordless version and was as delighted with it as I had been with the prior model. The Dremels never fail me. The batteries stay charged for a long time, the attachments are functional and well made - never had one break. One day I might actually try my hand at using the tool for something other than the dog's nails.

If you use the correct tip on the power tool, then you should have no problem cutting through a thin layer of copper. Engraving on the other hand is quite different, it will depend on your level of skill, as well as your grip on the tool itself.
